Although my passion is capturing historic homes with my paintbrush, I’m also very inspired by grand old buildings. Historic buildings, due to their size and detail, are both challenging and rewarding for me as an artist. I typically paint them in the pen and watercolor house portrait style that I use for all of my residential house portraits. My goal is to capture their details and craftsmanship. I include the personality of each building and a sense of their surroundings. Below are some of my favorite pieces I’ve created over the years.
