Built in 1887, the Meridian Iron Works building is one of South Pasadena’s first structures. It was first a grocery store and hotel, then later a blacksmith and iron works shop. Today it is home to the South Pasadena Historic Museum which is funded and operated by the South Pasadena Preservation Society.
